International Veterans’ Forum “VETERANS – THE WAY HOME”
The International Veterans’ Forum “VETERANS – THE WAY HOME”, IRON WARRIORS, the “Yanko” Charitable Foundation, and the “All-Ukrainian Adaptive Pickleball Association” came together in Lviv!
This meaningful event united veterans, experts, volunteers, charitable organizations, and communities from across Ukraine to discuss critical issues of rehabilitation, social reintegration, and returning to active life through sport, culture, and education.
The forum served as a unique platform for sharing experiences, discovering innovative solutions, and strengthening cooperation among organizations that support veterans.

This dynamic festival, organized by the “Yanko” Charitable Foundation within the forum framework, demonstrated how sport can be a powerful tool for rehabilitation and social integration.
The event brought together veterans and civilians, all driven by a shared goal of recovery and development.
A key outcome of the festival was the formation of a working group focused on introducing adaptive sports at the national level. This initiative is intended to lay the groundwork for a comprehensive sports infrastructure for veterans across Ukraine.
The association played a vital role in the event, organizing pickleball training sessions — showcasing this innovative and inclusive sport.
Veterans, their families, and friends eagerly joined the activities, discovering the unique potential of pickleball for physical rehabilitation and emotional recovery.

Over 200 participants and guests took part in the festival’s activities, demonstrating unbreakable spirit, motivation, and a desire to grow.
Pickleball created space for new connections, friendships, and support, uniting everyone into one powerful community.
